Recently he was awarded the Gregory Clark Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Arts of Fly Fishing for the second time, for publishing the Canadian Fly Fisher magazine. |

Taught fly-fishing at an early age by his father, Jason turned away from the arts of fly-casting to pursue his vocation of computer programming. A graduate of the Loyalist College Information System Program, Jason has spent the last 8 years working in the field of computer software, hardware and systems design and analysis. His joining the team is now allowing him to again pick up a fly rod and take some time to enjoy the arts of fly-casting once more after keeping the office and the databases running smoothly. |

Rory is a master fly tyer and designer of several popular patterns; a saltwater and freshwater fly fishing guide on Vancouver Island; and has twice been a member of the Canadian Fly Fishing Team. He is a member of the Outdoor Writers of Canada, the Haig-Brown Kingfisher Creek Society, and the IGFA. He is co-author of The Ardent Angler and The Essential Guide to Fly Fishing in BC. Rory was recently the recipient of an OWC award for his article on Roderick Haig-Brown in this publication. |
